Byard Art for Health is a new way of sourcing fantastic contemporary visual art for hospitals and other healthcare facilities working exclusively within the NHS.

As the spotlight is focused on the need to modernise the fabric of Britain's hospitals and healthcare facilities, Byard Art for Health offers a quick, affordable, and highly visible means of conveying your Trust's or Authority's commitment to the highest standards of healthcare.

We work with NHS Trusts, PCGs and PCTs, Health Authority's and other NHS facilities to help create interesting, welcoming, modern, and forward looking healthcare spaces in which your staff can treat and care for their patients.

In order to do this, Byard Art for Health has brought together a unique partnership of print makers, print studios and a wide range of national artists to provide prints, paintings, photography and sculpture for the NHS.

Byard Art for Health offers a one-stop solution to the need for excellent contemporary art for public spaces within the NHS.

Be it one painting, or a hundred original prints; be it a new sculpture, or a video art project, Byard Art for Health can help.

We offer and source work by nationally and internationally known artists; work by young or emerging artists; much work that is visually 'accessible', some that is more challenging.

We work with hospitals, primary and community healthcare facilities, long-term care facilities, as well as management and administrative offices.

In addition to purchasing art work, Byard Art for Health also offers you the facility to rent.

For more substantial projects we offer a comprehensive commissioning service.

And just to make it even better, each piece of art work we install comes with detailed and lively information on both the artist and the work itself.

Easy to use

We take the hassle out of getting great art work. We visit the artists. We collect and inspect all art work. We manage the delivery and oversee the installation.

You simply choose what you like and what you think will make your hospital, research facility, clinic or surgery look stunning and a delight for the people using it.

You don't even need to leave your office. We'll bring a wide range of art work (slides, prints and photos) to you. This way we can help you think through what you might want to achieve for your patients, visitors, and staff through art, and then find exactly work you're looking for.

We'll ask about your budget, and about your decision-making processes and timescale. If you're renting we'll find out how long for, and what you might like to do at the end of the rental period.

Affordable

We have a wide range of artwork, and at a wide range of prices.

And most of our work is available for rent. Our business is about keeping costs as low and manageable as possible, so for an initial deposit, you can secure any number of works, for any period of time - from 1 year to a maximum of 3 years.
