‘My
work hinges on the relationship between photographic images
and the drawn mark, combining old and new technology and I
enjoy the contrast in the results that are possible from
simple single colour images to complex full colour
reproductions. Travel,
memories and emotions are recurrent themes in my work.
I possess a comprehensive understanding of computer
hardware and software, which is utilised extensively in the
production of my work. Colourists such as Patrick Heron, Albert Irvin and Howard
Hodgkin provide great inspiration.
I feel that my work moves across boundaries.’ |
